Zeller+Gmelin is constantly developing its product range: With Divinol Multi-Axle LS 80W-90, the lubricant manufacturer is now launching a high-performance gear oil for hypoid-toothed axle drives and self-locking differentials. The premium limited-slip oil with LS additive in SAE grade 80W-90 meets the highest performance requirements even in dirty, dusty, hot or cold conditions. For example, it is ideal for the construction, logistics and agricultural sectors, where it is used for telescopic cranes, earthmoving machines and tractors.
As a long-standing supplier of engine and transmission oils for the automotive sector under the Divinol brand, Zeller+Gmelin is a well-known partner of automotive manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers. The growing range includes two-stroke oils, monograde and multigrade oils for commercial vehicles, cars and motorcycles.
"With Divinol Multi-Axle LS 80W90, we are now presenting our global users with a latest-generation multigrade hypoid gear oil with limited-slip additives," explains Andreas Krapf, Automotive Product Manager at Zeller+Gmelin. "This is not only ideal for heavy-duty machines and vehicles in particularly difficult terrain, but also contributes to fleet rationalization due to its versatility and efficiency." For example, it can also be used to fill a conventional GL-5 gearbox, allowing the existing oil balance in mixed fleets to be optimized.
Versatile use and long-term stability
The lubricant has already been approved by Zahnradfabrik Friedrichshafen (ZF) for the ZF TE-ML 05N and 21N standards. It therefore covers the previous ZF TE-ML 05C and 21C standards, which means that the new limited-slip gear oil is backwards-compatible and can therefore also be used for the previous standards without any problems.
Thanks to its special formulation based on high-quality, low-sulphur base oils, the product is characterized by high long-term stability and significantly reduces wear in the transmission. The unique composition also enables a longer service life compared to the previous standards ZF TE-ML 05C and 21C, including optimum protection against deposits.
Predestined for Liebherr construction machinery
Andreas Krapf concludes: "With our new Divinol Multi-Axle LS 80W90 hypoid gear oil, we not only meet the increased requirements of numerous machine and vehicle manufacturers, but our high-performance lubricant is also particularly suitable for Liebherr construction machinery, as it meets the required phosphorus values of >1900 ppm without any problems."
