Flat knitting

The needle bed in this type of knitting is flat, resulting in rows of stitches. The width of the fabric can be adjusted after each row, which offers many advantages for anatomical knits, for example. In compression stockings, they ensure even pressure over the entire length. Jackets, vests and pullovers are often produced on flat knitting machines. Other applications include seat covers or modern, knitted shoes.

Our lubricants for flat knitting meet the requirements of the needle bed and other lubrication points.
