We offer you a new generation of UV-curing printing ink systems for a wide range of applications in metal printing.
The ink series are very color-intensive and are characterized by outstanding flexibility. They naturally have all the fastness properties required for metal decorating. The series are suitable for printing on coated metal substrates in sheet-fed offset printing.

UVALUX U3
UV-curing premium ink series
The good ink transfer in the machine produces a high-gloss, flexible ink film with very good mechanical and chemical resistance. The ink enables excellent thermoforming results, which, however, depend on many influencing factors and not only on the printing ink. For example, the basecoat used has a strong effect on the thermoforming properties. The formability of UVALUX U3 inks is so good that they can in principle also be used on monoblock aerosol cans.

- Light fastness at least 6 (DIN 16525)
- Hot sterilizable at 131 °C/30 min.
- Resistant to solvent mixtures (DIN 16524)
- Resistant to silver lacquers
- High reactivity, therefore very good through-curing
- Temperature resistant at least 180 °C/10 min.
- Very high color intensity
- Excellent printing behavior
- Very good adhesion to painted substrates
- Excellent scratch resistance
Opaque white
Opaque white systems play an important role in metal decorating. We currently have 3 standard opaque white types in our program:
- Unembellished white for mixing
- violet tinted, for clear-coated sheet metal
- blue tinted, for gold-painted sheet metal
METALCURE U30
UV-curing premium ink series
The ink enables excellent thermoforming results, but these depend on many influencing factors and not just the ink. For example, the basecoat used has a strong effect on the thermoforming properties. The formability of METALCURE U30 inks is so good that they can in principle also be used on monobloc aerosol cans.

UV-curing General-Line ink series
The UVALUX U37 series is a UV-curing ink series with deliberately reduced fastness properties that cannot be sterilized. It was specially developed for general line applications, e.g. for printing on technical packaging that is not sterilized. It is very color-intensive and is characterized by excellent flexibility. The good ink transfer in the machine produces a high-gloss, flexible ink film with very good mechanical resistance and excellent thermoforming properties.
