Our high-quality printing inks and coatings for labels, molded products, metal printing, commercials, conventional packaging and food packaging (low-migration printing inks and coatings) have proven themselves in practice worldwide. In future, this diverse portfolio will be supplemented by our new digital printing inks, in the development of which we have benefited from our extensive experience.
Digital printing technologies are becoming more and more established in the business areas relevant to Zeller+Gmelin. Digital processes enable short throughput times, small batch production and personalization per item, including individual finishing. Whether large or small print runs, almost everything is increasingly being produced using digital printing technologies.
Zeller+Gmelin graphic digital printing inks have been developed for the decoration of POS/POP displays made of polypropylene (hollow chamber PP) and cardboard boxes, a wide range of plastics and packaging such as labels, films, sheet metal and molded products.
Typical graphic applications such as large format printing (LFP) enable short runs to be processed quickly and printed products to be delivered within a few hours. The digital printing inks specially developed for this purpose are characterized by good adhesion, excellent cutting and folding properties and vibrant colors.
Our research and development laboratories build on many years of extensive experience in the fields of chemistry, color management and dispersion technology to develop and manufacture high-quality inkjet inks. In close cooperation with our customers and OEMs, the new portfolio is developed to meet special application-specific requirements. We also use our formulation and analytical expertise in the product development of FCM (food contact materials) inks for printing on food packaging.
