Asphalt release agent

Whether in asphalt mixing plants or in road construction - asphalt release agents from Zeller+Gmelin protect your machines.

High temperature loads during the laying and transportation of asphalt and strong mechanical influences require high-quality lubricants that represent a reliable alternative to release agents such as diesel, which are prohibited by law.

Diesel attacks the surface of the asphalt pavement and makes it soft. It also pollutes the environment and endangers the health of workers. Zeller+Gmelin offers you environmentally friendly alternatives that can be used in a time and cost effective manner and have a high performance potential
.

Our products have been developed and optimized in cooperation with customers to meet their high technical requirements. At the same time, our release agents are constantly adapted to the current requirements in occupational safety. Environmental protection and sustainability also play a major role for Zeller+Gmelin.

Zeller+Gmelin offers you emulsions (ready-to-use or as a concentrate), release agents based on mineral oil or renewable raw materials. Release agent for asphalt mixing plants

Divinol asphalt release agents are used in asphalt mixing plants for charging belts and chutes when loading trucks. Trucks with tipper bodies are used to transport the hot asphalt mix. For this purpose, the asphalt release agent is applied to the loading areas of the trucks using a high-pressure sprayer. A uniform pressure of 4-6 bar must be ensured.

Release agent for road construction

The asphalt is unloaded at the construction site from the tipper truck onto the feeder's receiving hopper. The mix is transferred to the paver's material hopper via a heated conveyor belt with chain drive. There, the asphalt is applied evenly across the entire paving width via a paving screed.
Road rollers with rubber wheels or steel rollers compact the applied asphalt depending on the type of asphalt mix, paving thickness, temperature, etc.
