According to current knowledge, there is no risk of nitrosamine formation due to the absence of secondary amines.

In addition, Zubora TEP is inhibited against nitrosamine formation, i.e. no stable N-nitrosamines can be formed in the presence of secondary amines and nitrite, e.g. from external entrainment.
If the limit value for nitrite according to TRGS 611 is exceeded, partial or complete replacement of the working solution is therefore not necessary.

Application

Zubora TEP is used as a coolant solution especially for grinding cast iron, case-hardening and heat-treatable steel, free-cutting steel and non-ferrous metals. Thanks to the selection of highly effective EP additives, Zubora TEP can be used for heavy-duty machining processes.

The product is suitable for machining steel, cast iron and aluminum. Zubora TEP is also suitable for machining sensitive aluminum alloys such as AL 2024 and AL 7075.
Thanks to a special formulation, Zubora TE P is particularly stable over the long term.

The EP additives considerably extend the service life of the tools and enable machining at high cutting speeds. This ensures a high level of process reliability
