Application
Zubora TEP is used as coolant solution especially for grinding cast iron, hardened- and tempering steel, free cutting steel as well as non-ferrous heavy metals. Due to selected highly effective EP additives Zubora TEP is suitable for difficult cutting processes.
The product can be used for machining steel, cast iron and aluminium. Moreover, Zubora TEP is suitable for machining sensitive aluminium alloys as AL 2024 and AL 7075. Due to a special formulation Zubora TEP is particularly long-term stable. The EP-additives effect a longer tool life and enable the working with high cutting speeds. Thus, a high process security can be guaranteed even for very difficult working operations. This advantage guarantees high flexibility for different cutting processes mainly in central systems and working centres.
The necessary working concentration depends on the difficulty of the operation and the material.
Recommended hardness of the preparation water:
12 to 24° dH (210 – 430 ppm CaCO3).
