Multidraw KTL N 16

Due to its high quality components Multidraw KTL N 16 is especially suitable for the chipless sheet metal forming of aluminium, steel and zinc coated steel of all kinds, from medium to difficult forming, mostly in the automotive industry. For non-ferrous heavy metals it is only suitable to a limited extent.

Multidraw KTL N 16 is recommended for spot lubrication of parts treated with our prelube Multidraw PL 61.

Besides excellent drawing results Multidraw KTL N 16 guarantees outstanding corrosion protection and high ageing stability.

The product can be applied manually as well as by automatic rolling or spraying systems without any problems. All usual application systems which are on the market at the moment can be used. We would be pleased to help you with selecting the system. When changing from water-miscible forming lubricants to Multidraw KTL N 16 Divinol Spülfluid should be used to clean the application system.

It is not necessary heating Multidraw KTL N 16 before applying it. However, the spraying pressure can be reduced by heating the product to 40 or 50 °C. In that case, you have to make sure that there is no local overheating (cracking). For easy forming operations we recommend application amounts of up to 1.5 g/m², for difficult forming operations of up to 3 g/m².

Multidraw KTL N 16 fulfils the requirements of the VDA (German association of the automotive industry) performance specifications of all German automotive manufacturers according to VDA standard 230-213.
It is approved for applications by all members of the VDA. The application of Multidraw KTL N 16 is especially recommended for supplying press shops as for spot lubrication it fulfils the procedural requirements off all members of the VDA.
