Multidraw KTL N 16

Multidraw KTL N 16 is very well suited for chipless forming of aluminium, steel and galvanized sheet metal of all kinds at medium to heavy forming degrees, mainly in the automotive industry. The product is conditionally suitable for non-ferrous metals.

Multidraw KTL N 16 is recommended for the additional greasing of parts treated with our Prelube “Multidraw PL 61”.

In addition to excellent drawing results Multidraw KTL N 16 guarantees outstanding corrosion protection and high ageing stability.

Multidraw KTL N 16 can be easily applied manually as well as with automatic rolling or spraying equipment. All standard application devices currently available on the market can be used. We will be happy to help you select the right system. When switching from water-miscible forming lubricants to Multidraw KTL N 16 Divinol rinsing fluid should be used to clean the application system.

Multidraw KTL N 16 does not need to be heated before application, but the spraying pressure can be reduced by heating the product to 40 °C to 50 °C. However, care must be taken to ensure that no local overheating occurs (cracking). The required application quantity is up to 1.5 g/m² for light forming and up to 3 g/m² for heavy forming.

Multidraw KTL N 16meets the requirements of the VDA specifications of all German car manufacturers in accordance with VDA standard 230-213 and has been approved for use by all VDA members. The use of Multidraw KTL N 16as it meets the technical process requirements of all VDA members for additional greasing.
