Application
Multidraw ALG 40 is excellently suited for chipless forming of aluminium, non-ferrous metals,
nickel silver and galvanized steel grades, especially for car body parts with the highest demands on
drawing performance.
The specially selected ingredients depolymerize during thermal treatment, e.g. annealing. Multidraw ALG 40 leaves no cracking residue on the metal surface.
This means that it is not necessary to degrease steel before welding and soldering.
Multidraw ALG 40 can be applied manually as well as with automatic rolling or spraying equipment.
Multidraw ALG 40 vaporizes residue-free at temperatures > 450 °C.
The product is also used in the high-temperature lubrication of conveyor chains, where
temperatures of up to approx. 260 °C can be mastered.
At higher temperatures, Multidraw ALG 40 evaporates almost residue-free and the EP active ingredients it contains take over the lubrication for a short period of time.
