Application
Multidraw ALG 40 is especially suitable for the chipless forming of aluminium, non-ferrous heavy metals, nickel silver and zinc coated steel qualities, especially for car body parts with highest demands to the drawing performance.
The selected components de-polymerise under thermal treatment, e. g. tempering. In this process Multidraw ALG 40 does not leave any cracking residues on the metal surface. Therefore, the degreasing of steel is not necessary before welding and soldering.
Multidraw ALG 40 can be applied manually as well as by automatic rolling or spraying systems.
Multidraw ALG 40 evaporates without any residues at temperatures > 450 °C.
The product is also used for high temperature lubrication of chain conveyors. Temperatures up to approximately 260 °C are mastered.
At higher temperatures Multidraw ALG 40 evaporates almost completely and the contained EP-additives take over the lubrication for a short period.
