Application
Multidraw ALF 4 is a forming oil for aluminum and its alloys. The product has proven itself in practice in the forming of aluminum body parts.
The product is also used for light to medium machining work as well as for cutting and punching.
The use of Multidraw ALF 4 significantly reduces flake formation, minimizing built-up edges and welding on tools. This has been confirmed by studies carried out as part of EFB projects at the Technical University of Munich.
Multidraw ALF 4 is also suitable for the fine drawing of aluminum and aluminum alloy wires up to finished wire dimensions of approx. 0.05 mm. Also suitable for the production of aluminum welding wire.
Multidraw ALF 4 has good pumpability in automatic spray systems for minimum quantity lubrication with a well-dosed spray pattern. The machined workpieces have almost dry surfaces.
