Application

Multiboard Strand 2100 is a highly efficient, water-miscible concentrate for the production of a release agent for the wood-based materials industry. It is typically used in the production of OSB boards. The product shows excellent release properties when glued with isocyanate (PMDI) on the press belts/sheets, even at low concentrations.

Multiboard Strand 2100 is applied by spray or roller application. Roller application in particular enables the release agent to be used very economically.

Approvals

The application equipment manufacturer WEKO has issued an approval confirming the suitability of Multiboard Strand 2100 for spraying. Multiboard Strand 2100 has been tested by Westland Gummiwerke against its elastomer materials and is used successfully in practice in production using a roller application system.
