Er umfasst ökologische und soziale Kriterien entlang der gesamten Lieferkette, von der Ernte der Rohstoffe über umweltfreundliche und sozial verantwortliche Herstellung bis hin zur Kennzeichnung der Endprodukte. Der Standard zielt darauf ab, den biologischen Status von Textilien zu sichern und Verbrauchern zuverlässige Sicherheit zu bieten.
