Zubora 35 series scores with economic efficiency and high performance

With the new Zubora 35 series, Zeller+Gmelin is launching two high-performance metalworking fluids (MWF) onto the market that have been specially developed for demanding machining tasks in contract and series production. The two variants – Zubora 35 H Ultra and Zubora 35 M Ultra – are characterized by a balanced combination of technical performance, process reliability and economic efficiency.

“With the new Zubora products, we provide machining companies with exactly what counts today: stable processes, long tool life and an attractive price-performance ratio,” explains Thorsten Wechmann, Strategic Business Unit Manager at Zeller+Gmelin. “The products are ideally suited for flexible use in production environments in which different materials are machined – for example in contract manufacturing.”

Adaptable to changing machining requirements

The two new Zubora cooling lubricants are optimized for different water qualities:

  • Zubora 35 H Ultra was designed for hard water
  • Zubora 35 M Ultra is particularly suitable for soft to medium-hard water

Both KSS variants cover a wide range of applications – from the machining of cast iron and high-strength steels to more demanding aluminum alloys such as AL 2024 or AL 7075. The formulations are based on proven EP/AW additives and polar components that ensure a reliable lubricating effect and contribute to increased tool life.

Machine manufacturer GROB confirms practical suitability

The practical suitability has now also been confirmed by GROB’s current technical customer documentation: Zubora 35 H Ultra is listed there in combination with Divinol T 12 EP ISO 220 bedway oil. The cooling lubricant is therefore suitable for use with GROB machines. Other water-miscible metalworking fluids from Zeller+Gmelin are also already listed in the machine manufacturer’s customer documentation, including, for example, the established metalworking fluids Zubora 65 H Ultra, Zubora 67 H Ultra and Zubora 65 M Ultra L.

“Especially for manufacturing companies with high quality requirements and a wide range of materials, the combination of technical performance and economic efficiency is a decisive criterion,” says Thorsten Wechmann.
