Zeller+Gmelin at the wire 2026 in Düsseldorf

This year, we will once again be presenting our comprehensive expertise in the field of wire drawing at wire in Düsseldorf. Visitors to stand 9A19 in hall 9 will once again be able to see our enhanced range of cooling lubricants for themselves. The focus will be on the Multidraw drawing agent concentrates, which consistently combine performance and sustainability.

“wire is the world’s most important trade fair for the wire drawing industry and always attracts numerous trade visitors from Germany and abroad. We are therefore delighted to be represented with a stand again – after all, a lot has happened for us in the last two years,” says Dr. Dilahan Aydin-Cantürk, Product Manager at Zeller+Gmelin. She is referring to the constantly growing product range of cooling lubricants for wire manufacturing, which now incorporate more than six decades of experience in the wire drawing segment.

The lubricant laboratories in Eislingen work closely with customers to continuously develop innovative solutions for users. These now range from wire drawing media for copper wire rod, copper and aluminum alloys to steel, stainless steel and steel cord.

More performance for continuous cast wires

One of the high-performance wire drawing agents on display, for example, is our Multiroll CU LF Special for the production of continuous cast wire rod. The fully synthetic, water-miscible cooling lubricant was specially developed for the cooling and lubrication of rolls in copper wire rod production. In addition to high wear and corrosion protection, the product is characterized by low foaming, which enables stable and trouble-free operation. The formulation used also ensures excellent long-term stability of the emulsion and the pH value.

Dr. Dilahan Aydin-Cantürk emphasizes: “With our multi-roll product, constant emulsion stability can be guaranteed even under high thermal stress. Another performance feature is the excellent surface quality of the wire produced. The drawing agent ensures a bright, shiny wire surface over the long term that meets the highest visual and functional requirements.”
