Modern harvesting machines for forest felling are high-tech machines that require high-quality lubricants. In addition to engine oils, biohydraulic oils, greases and biofats, a harvester needs a lubricant for the harvester head for felling trees – these are high-quality harvester chain oils based on easily biodegradable base oils refined with high-quality additives.
The biodegradable harvester saw chain oils based on renewable raw materials have been specially developed for high-performance chainsaws from timber harvesters, where increased viscosity and excellent lubricating properties are required. The product from Zeller+Gmelin fulfills the criteria for the eco-label as well as the KWF test requirements regarding suitability for use.
