Solvent-based calibration oil recommended for steam treatment
for difficult calibration processes
Multical IP 70 is a water-immiscible, solvent-based and wax-free calibration oil for difficult calibration processes.
If parts are steam treated, no coking residues or other negative changes occur on the surface of the sintered part if the steam treatment furnace is set correctly. Multical IP 70 is applied by spraying onto the sintered metal parts to be calibrated. After application, an oily coating forms. Due to its low viscosity, application by dipping is also possible if sufficient time is allowed for the excess oil to drip off.
