On Wednesday, 10.04.2024, Ayla Cataltepe, Member of the State Parliament, and Environment Minister Thekla Walker visited us in Eislingen. They visited Zeller+Gmelin to discuss climate and environmental protection with Siegfried Müller, Alexandra Scaglione and Thomas Alpers as well as our Head of Quality, Environmental and Energy Management Gülen Ak.
Mayor Klaus Heininger praised the company as a role model for sustainability: “Zeller+Gmelin is one of the largest employers in our city and a role model for other companies in the area of environmental protection and sustainability.”
Minister Thekla Walker emphasized the importance of innovative companies and cooperation for successful climate protection.
A tour of the plant with Production Manager Ralf Wendling and Head of Plant Engineering Daniel Knospe provided an insight into how sustainability is practiced at Zeller+Gmelin.
In addition, Rolf Ritter, Managing Director of Südöl, presented the sustainability of our plant at Südöl.
The Environment Minister says: “Innovative companies like Zeller+Gmelin make an important contribution. Pioneering technologies reduce the impact on the environment and protect the climate.”
The visit reinforces our commitment to sustainability and encourages us to continue on our path as a pioneer in this area.
