The event concluded on Saturday with an open house at the company’s Eislingen campus, providing an opportunity for direct interaction with people from the region.

At the Stadthalle, it became clear that 160 years cannot be summed up by mere dates alone. They are reflected in memories and in the people connected to the company. Through personal conversations and a varied stage program, the anniversary came to life, and looking back on the past decades became a special shared experience.

Saturday finally brought the anniversary celebration back to where the company’s history is made every day: the company grounds in Eislingen. At the open house, visitors were able to experience Zeller Gmelin up close. With machines, factory tours, vintage cars, and numerous hands-on activities, it was an experience for the whole family.

What was particularly wonderful was the mix of generations: people who have known Zeller Gmelin for many years met visitors who were getting a first-time glimpse behind the factory gates. It was precisely this connection between the past, present, and future that suited an anniversary celebration that wasn’t about resting on our laurels.

Because 160 years are, above all, one thing: a commitment to continue on the path we have chosen. The achievements of past generations form the foundation upon which Zeller Gmelin builds today. At the same time, the future is constantly being reshaped by the people who take on responsibility today, develop ideas, support customers, and help the company move forward a little further every day.
